Few weeks ago we got a call from a band called Op:l Bastards. They wanted to have some minimalistic led stuff at their album release gig at Tavastia Club. (for non-Finns, Tavastia Club is *the* place for a (rock)band to have a gig.)
I had two assembled Peggy 2 kits from Evil Mad scientists and some RGB led strip which were just perfect for the job.
I made a Quartz Composer patch which streams data from my Macbook to the peggy boards and then used VDMX to create a nice animation set for the gig. Everything went smoothly, except I managed to break my led strip controller so the only option was to set it to constant color instead of nice fading RGB effects.
