The last week has been crazy. I got a stomach flu and we should have had our move, few days later Sivu got that same virus and I should have done a tons of writing and strategy work for two different projects but hey, I was busy trying to drink enough not to dehydrate totally. ok, enough of that but yep, had a lot to do.
Now fortunately our office is moved (have been few days already) and only thing we failed with is that after the whole procedure someone ordered a blue led matrix of 8×8 LEDs sized of 1,9mm each and I then realised they were nowhere. We even went back to look for them from our old office room but nope: we had lost a small bunch of very small blue led matrixes. Anyway, besides that, our office is in good shape again. Of course our real home is something totally different: it’s a total mess and lot’s of stuff in wrong apartments still etc. but hey.. first things first.
I mentioned you earlier that book by Massimo Banzi. I actually had somehow skipped the forewords first and when i read them.. oh, they were worth of reading. =) There is a cute story of little Massimo trying to learn how to build machines and understand electronics by playing with old radios and trying to figure out data sheets etc. It’s really a charming narrative that also .. well it could be called “kehyskertomus” in Finnish, not really sure of the term in English. Anyway, you should read it. Of course, right now I still have a LOT of things to do as I got to my regular work only today after sickness and have missed a bunch of things, so because of that (and the obvious thing my Arduino book is somewhere in the moving boxes or between them or who knows where) I haven’t really read a lot of the book and most probably will not for a few days / weeks.
btw. We have colourful Arduino Duemilanoves in stock.. I have kind of longed for them, just because they are so cute. It seems people like red and orange ones best. My personal favorite is purple, but you can’t really see it at the general picture of those boards so no wonder nobody else seems to be interested of it. Perhaps I need to take a photo of it some day. It’s very dark, almost close to black ones but the tone is clearly a pretty purple if you have lights on when you watch it. =)
