battery holder, few LEDs and conductive thread are few euros (perhaps 5 together or so?) and if you need a starting pack then you can star with linked box to try it out and find the most suitable ways for yourself to do things and then get more of those spares.

What will it cost to do this? I mean without yarn and hooks, just the leds and battery.

Built this tonight, a few hours after purchasing at Alt 2010. Nice design with minimal number of parts. Took maybe an hour to build and worked like a charm after hooking up with a spare Teensy 1.0

Ideas for improvement: Perhaps consider using resistor networks for slightly easier/faster build? On documentation side, it took me a while to ensure what the correct VCC should be. Some notes about current consumption would be nice as well; I was initially a bit scared about frying my USB port, but then chose not to worry about those kind of things. Seems to be ok at least when multiplexing one row at a time, but don't know what happens if you light everything up at the same time.

Great kit, A+++++++ would buy again.

Seriously think about possible interesting sessions for SpaceCamp, the unconference happening at ALT party (at least add some session suggestions to the wiki page :)

I also added some switches to toggle autoreset and the 5V to the bluesmirf, it helps when i switch back and forth between trying my usb and the bluetooth. That way i don't have to disable autoreset permanently.

Still having issues with repG recognizing the bot, everything else is showing up fine, but it keeps going to COM8 when my bluetooth is on COM6 (COM3 is my normal usb connection). I keep trying to change to com6, but each time I restart repG it is back to com8, I tried modifying the machines.xml file to change COM1 to COM6 as well. Not really sure what else I can do.
